This bespoke garden home office in Raby Mere, Wirral was built for a couple who both work from home full time and with a baby on the way, the main house was about to get a lot busier.
They needed a proper, professional workspace at the end of the garden. Not a shed with a desk in it — a genuine office that could handle a full working day, video calls, and the kind of reliable connectivity that remote working depends on.
We delivered a build that ticked every box, including one detail that sets this project apart: 60 metres of Cat6 ethernet cable run from the house to a wifi router inside the office, giving both clients fast, reliable broadband — not a hotspot, not a wifi extender, a proper hardwired connection.
This 4.5m x 3m garden office was built to our full bespoke specification with one additional focus: connectivity. The clients work from home professionally and needed a broadband solution that would hold up through video calls, large file transfers, and two people working simultaneously.
We ran 60 metres of Cat6 ethernet cable from the domestic supply point to a router installed inside the office. The result is a garden office with the same quality internet connection as the main house — crucial for working from home at a professional level.
